Recording both passed and failed respirator fit tests using the TSI Portacount

While most want to only keep a list of those that have passed their respirator fit tests for the records, there are some that want to keep a list of those that have failed.

The reasons may vary: verification of those that could not properly be fitted for a respirator, a record of all tests performed (like a contractor that is paid per person tested, regardless of outcome), or even for recording the total number of tests attempted.

To make this change using FitPro software, click Setup and Global FitPro Options.

Save all fit tests The default setting will be “Passed fit tests only” Select “All fit tests” and you will keep a record for all fit test attempts. Please note that this will record partial fit tests as well.
